The main body of my day was taken up by a completely mistimed
cycling experience from which I returned both totally drenched and completely
filthy. On the way back some youthful and sarcastic git had the cheek to
whistle at me. The fool; does he not know that mud is the new black? Anyway, I
rather enjoyed my bike ride. Out of interest… is it technically stealing to
bring back the majority of the old railway cycle route as a facial accessory?
Mistimed as my venture was, my return could not have been
better planned; I had just enough time to find myself under the caking of mud
and make myself presentable to find my dinner waiting merrily on a plate. There’s
something welcoming about bangers and mash with salad and gravy that warms my
little heart. Thanks, Mum. :)
Also, I made a youtube video of me singing and playing
guitar; that’s right, I finally (FINALLY!) did it. It seems to have been well
received, so I’m going to try to make it a weekly thing. No doubt this will
last under a month because I’m probably less organised than a blind sloth
planning a last minute dinner party for a pride of lions.
Thanks for reading!
